Responsibilities: Product movement, Loading and unloading of products, inventory management, etc. Cathedral Kitchen is a nonprofit organization in Camden that was founded 44 years ago. Our mission is to help people out of food insecurity and champion their pursuit of stability and prosperity. Duties and Responsibilities: • Checks in food and supply deliveries and reports any shortages for 2 adjoining locations • Loads and unloads truck with food and grocery products • Ability to work with pallet jacks • Organizes dry storage and walk ins • Practices FIFO procedures for product storage • Works with Chefs to distribute product • Assures general cleanliness of the kitchen area, especially walk-in cold storage units, dry storage room and storage areas in kitchen. • Responsible to participate in Outreach deliveries of meals and market stand products • Assists in set up of the dining room and assists in the dinner service and ensures the safety of our guests and volunteers. • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude with staff, volunteers and dinner guests • Assists with Market Stand set up for our dinner guests • Ability to drive for food pickups and deliveries is mandatory. • Advises Facilities Manager of any concerns of repair or malfunctions with CK vehicles Job Qualifications • Training and/or experience in food preparation/warehousing is a plus • Ability to move significant amount of product daily • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks • Ability to work as a team member • Ability to lift 50+lbs • Driver license and ability to drive box truck is a plus but not mandatory Position qualifies for health, dental, and life insurance after 90 days Paid time off Free lunch provided each day
