We are a busy family owned business looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced full-time mechanic. You would have full access to our 3000sqft heated shop which has 3 lifts and full service tire equipment. Up to $250.00 Healthcare reimbursement.
Requirements:
1-3 years (minimum) previous mechanical experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
Must OWN your own tools.
Applicants must have current drivers license.
Work independently and is self disciplined.
Experience with light repairs.
Provide 3 Professional references that can attest to your abilities listed below.
Duties would include:
Complete pre-purchase inspections and prepare vehicles for sale.
Manage vehicle recondition process from start to finish.
Capable of automotive diagnostic equipment.
Document any and all work performed, diagnostic procedures, and parts used.
Quality control and check your own work, including road testing.
Ensure Vehicles are clean and damage-free for delivery to the customer.
Ability to be flexible at a moments notice and work well with sales staff to complete last minute repairs.
Keep work area clean, safe and organized.
Return unused or incorrect parts to correct location.
Understand, keep updated, and comply with all federal, state & local regulations – such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA rules, etc.
Tire mounting and repair (Preferred).
