2021 Lac Vieux Desert Chairman's Open. Charity Golf Tournament for Lac Vieux Desert Educational Scholarships. Four Person Scramble. Since as early as 2008, James Williams Jr., LVD Tribal Chairman, envisioned creating a scholarship fund for Lac Vieux Desert Tribal Member College Students. Chairman Williams created this Golf Tournament as a way for people to get together, golf, and most importantly raise money! We appreciate the support and generous donations throughout the years that continue to make this not only a great event, but an even better way to give back to our Higher Education Students. In just the last three years, with the generous support from businesses, vendors, and people like you, we were very fortunate to help over 50 college students with the “Chairman’s Open Scholarship”. These scholarships have helped our Higher Education Students continue to pursue their education, while also alleviating financial burden during their academic school year. Please have your registration barcode ready upon registering. • Shotgun starts 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning. Team Captains please make sure your team is golf ready. • Light breakfast will be provided both days at the Pro Shop before Shotgun start. • Lunch will be delivered Cart Side both days starting at 11:00 a.m. • After Saturdays Round, teams will be flighted based off of the teams score that day. Flight board will be displayed during Saturday’s dinner. • Saturday Night Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Events Center • 7:00 – 8:00 – Auction/Special Recognition • Eliminator Band starts show at 9:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. in the Events Center • A list of proxies will be available for both days and will be provided each day. • Team Captain will need to make sure $40 team skins are paid before Shotgun start each day (Skin Game is optional). • LVD Golf Course Rules will be available both days. • Four Flights will pay out: 1st $1,400, 2nd $1,000, 3rd 700 and 4th $500
