Southwest Florida telecommunications company seeks a Construction Apprentice. Excellent opportunity for a local, hardworking and responsible individual to break into a new career. We offer extremely competitive compensation with room for advancement, supply all hotels and per diem. Qualified individuals must have a CLEAN BACKGROUND AND DRIVING RECORD and be able to pass random drug screens. Current projects throughout Florida. Travel and Overtime required. Can not be afraid of heights. On the job training provided - Responsibilities will include: - Installs, maintains, repairs, removes or retrofits wireless network antenna systems (e.g. antennas, microwave dishes, feed lines, ice shields, etc.). - Transport of heavy equipment and materials to work locations including remote areas to perform functions of the job using appropriate vehicles (e.g. 4-wheel drive vehicle, trailer, forklift, etc.). - Maintains compliance with all, OSHA and customer-specific safety procedures and guidelines. - Work as a part of a team with the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships/communication within a small group of co-workers. - Maintain and organize crew trucks. Requirements: - Construction background a plus - Valid driver's license and be able to pass a driving record check. - Proficient in the use of all MS Windows products and databases - All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and CRIMINAL background check. - Must have your own hand tools (sockets, wrenches, etc.) Please reply to this ad with your resume and contact information for consideration.
