FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (warehouses, office buildings, etc.) Immediate opening for two full time Facilities Maintenance Technicians with 10+ years experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical, painting, lighting, drywall, carpentry, etc. Ideal candidates will have construction industry experience or apartments buildings/facilities maintenance technician experience. Starting pay is $20 per hour depending on experience. HIGHER PAY OFFERED FOR TEAM LEADS!! Company truck, gas, tools and smart phone will be provided. After 90 days probation, eligible for benefits such as medical and dental insurance, 401K plan with company match, holiday pay, PTO and annual bonus. Opportunities available to grow within the company. Able to work in exterior and interior environments all through the year in commercial office buildings and warehouses IN and AROUND PHOENIX. Able to lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders, etc. Able to stand for long periods of time. Fit and fasten drywall into position on wood or metal frameworks, using glue, nails, or screws; fill cracks with plaster/mud; grind surfaces and sand to smooth finish, texture and paint. Perform drywall repairs. Painting experience with all types of paint brushes, rollers and spray rigs. Masking and prep work for all surfaces. Smoothen surfaces to prepare surfaces for painting. Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler. Changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, replacing regular and emergency ballasts and performing similar minor electrical tasks. Plumbing work including opening clogged drains, repairing leaks, replacing angled stops and performing other simple plumbing jobs. Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods and occasional larger tasks such as office remodels. Willingness to work in multiple trades, depending on the work available for the day/week. Able to effectively communicate issues to supervisor and Property Managers and follow written and oral instructions. Excellent customer service attitude. Dependable, on time every time. Must possess a valid AZ drivers license, pass drug test, background check and E-Verify and provide references.
