Come join us for a closer look beyond the sage, as we explore and bridge the space between ancient tradition and science For thousands of years, the burning of plants and herbs has been a widely used practice across cultures throughout the world for ceremony, blessing, clearing, etc... During this workshop, you will learn: - The history of smudging across cultures - The science behind why smudging works - How to clear, protect, and create space - About smudging and its purpose as related to Lakota tradition Please note that recording will not be allowed during class, but feel free to bring pens, pencils, paper…. In addition to her healing work, she is a licensed medical social worker with experience in long term care, hospice, and behavioral health. She believes in cultivating the being of a person from not only the medicinal side but also by the inner Spirit because only in having the Triangle of Self (Mind, Body, and Spirit) balanced can one be truly aligned. Vanessa Sandoval is a natural born healer and crystal master who merges the two worlds that have influenced her throughout her life: the world of science and the world of mystics. Known for her crystal work throughout the Las Vegas Valley, Vanessa is a Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki/ Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner, Crystal Master, and Huna/Ho’omananlani Practitioner.. With wisdom and heart-centered guidance, she serves as a catalyst and guide for those that wish to integrate and balance all parts of their being.
