Myers Restaurant Supply, LLC, a division of Edward Don, a Leading National Foodservice Equipment and Design Company has an immediate opening for a Receiver. Our warehouse is rapidly growing, fast paced, focused, and exciting. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has the ability to multi-task, enjoys a friendly, supportive and social environment. GENERAL SUMMARY: Accountable for processing all product and paperwork relating to receiving at our warehouse. Perform the primary responsibility of efficient and accurate checking of all products and perform other functions, as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Maintain a positive attitude and support the morale of your team members *Working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel are required *Type up to 45 WPM *Clean DMV *Great organizational skills *Inspect incoming freight *Unload and receive product safely both manually or with equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks *Lift up to 75 lbs. *Use of a cutting knife to open cartons, read packing slips, and count items *Verify actual product with packing slips and purchase, while confirming product integrity *Properly tag items *Break down product and palletize, as necessary *Communicate any damages, discrepancies, and other issues to the Receiver Administrator *Assist all warehouse staff with daily orders, project staging, and project loading, as needed *Search and validate product counts as requested by the Inventory Control Administrator, Warehouse Coordinator, or the Director of Operations & Purchasing *Relay inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Control Administrator via email *Actively maintain a clean, organized warehouse Physical Requirements: Duties require manual dexterity. Frequent movement, including bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and climbing a ladder. Ability to push, pull, and lift 75 pounds. Extended period of times sitting, walking, and standing.
