Handfed Cockatiel

Description
Kona is my 1 year old handfed, tame, spunky little cockatiel. I originally got him as a companion for my older cockatiel and she recently passed away. He is used to being with another bird so he is very needy right now. He is spunky and he talks! He joins in on FaceTime calls. He loves it. His vocabulary consists of “pretty bird”, kissing, cat calling (he’s a little flirt), laughing with us, and making a squeaky toy noise. He had been picking up on other bird sounds and music. He’s a funny little character. He likes to perch on my head or shoulders. If I’m laying down he’s usually on the pillow next to me watching movies. I can’t get another bird right now and he needs more time than I’m available to spend with him due to some work and schedule changes. I am looking for a home that will allow him to be out of his cage a good amount of the day, preferably without cats. I moved back in with my family and they have 2 big dogs. He isn’t scared of the dogs. He thinks he’s one of them. Honestly, it makes me a little nervous. He has his flight feathers and loves flying from his cage to his table top playground and he also has a window gym so he can watch outside. I’m so sad to rehome him but it’s for his well being. He would love to have a girl cockatiel added to his life again if you want to try getting him a friend. He is on a mix of pellets in one dish, seed mix in one dish, millet, greens, and treats. He comes with his playground, window perch, two cages (one is for transportation or a shady spot on my porch in good weather for 30-45 minutes) he prefers not to be pet on the head but loves to cuddle up against my neck. His favorite game is removing plain sunflower seeds from their shells (the kind from the pet store.) There is a rehoming fee of $550 for him and all of his cages, food, toys, etc. Please TEXT if you are seriously looking for the best little addition to your family.
