APPLY, QUALIFY, have 6 inches tall STEEL TOE BOOTS, START NEXT WORKING DAY. Seeking Full-Time Waste Material Sorters for a MRF company out in the Germantown, WI Area. Temp-To-Hire Great opportunity to get your foot in the door for a a Fortune 500 company. 1st Shift Monday - Friday 4:00am - 12:30pm/1:30pm $13.00/hr. Must have own vehicle (not on the busline.) You will need to provide 6 inches tall STEEL TOE BOOTS. The Waste Material Sorters is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of recyclable materials from a conveyor line by performing the following duties: --Manually sort paper and other recyclable materials such as glass, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, etc. --Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in container according to type, size, condition, coloring or paper grade. --Pull contaminants out of paper or off floor. --Distinguish between various grades of paper for sorting. --Dump boxes and totes of materials. --Keep surrounding work area clean. --Wear proper PPE at all necessary times. --Clean up conveyor and surrounding sorting line. --Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment. --Follow appropriate standard operating --Perform work and maintain work area. --Follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as guideline for operating and maintaining equipment. --Report any worker-public safety factors and/or equipment malfunctions. --Other duties as assigned
