Job Description Honda and Toyota Used/Preowned Car Technician Are you a new or experienced automotive technician looking for long term career? Duties and responsibilities • Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment • Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly • Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings • Disassemble and reassemble parts • Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective Qualifications Qualifications to include but not limited to: • Certifications will factor in to pay plan • Great attitude • Excellent customer service skills • Detailed oriented • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination. • Mechanical skills • Troubleshooting skills • Working well with others in a group setting Job Type: Full-time Experience: • Automotive Repair: 2 years (Preferred) • Automotive technician/mechanic: 2 years (Preferred) • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record Drug Free Dealership Salary: $17.00 to $27.00 /hour Monday -Friday Equal Opportunity Employer
