Join us both in person or on Zoom for a Dhamma talk with guest speaker, Bhante Suddhāso.
This week's topic is Recognizing Impermanence.
The Buddha said "All things are impermanent" (sabbe saṅkhārā aniccā), and stated that developing the recognition of impermanence as a direct experience naturally leads to full enlightenment. But even before enlightenment, it helps us maintain serenity during our daily activities. On this occasion Bhante Suddhāso will explain how to recognize impermanence both during meditation practice and in everyday life.
Bhante Suddhāso is co-founder of Empty Cloud Monastery (www.emptycloud.org), a dual-gender monastery in New Jersey. He practices both Theravāda and Mahāyāna Buddhism, and has translated hundreds of pages of the Pāli Canon into English. The focus of his monastic life is on helping spread the Buddha-Dhamma in English, and to help Westerners develop an appreciation for traditional Buddhist monasticism.
Space is limited so be sure to register for in person meditation ASAP! We have a capacity of 25 people. If you register for attendance via Zoom, link will be emailed to you one hour prior.
