We were standing on the grocery check out line. You were ahead of me. You were petit and myself : 5'9", average build, older (40s) gent. Before we hit the counter we made small talk. I said you are cute and you returned the complement. After a brief pause, you took the courage to say you admire older gents. I almost blushed and said "thank you but I am committed". You said, "oh yes, I assumed and I understand. But of course we could be friends!?". I inwardly admired what you said but couldn't return the complement... Just then, the grocery clerk said "Hi, did you find everything you were looking for?".... And there ended our conversation 😔. I could never get you out of my mind even after you had left and the clerk was checking out my items!! I wonder who and where you are. If you see this message, reply me right away!
