Job Title: General Cashier / Office Clerk Stevinson Toyota West is seeking a General Cashier / Office Clerk to join their team. Previous dealership experience helpful. Compensation: $14.00-$16.00 based on experience Work Hours: Work Hours: Full Time schedule – Monday-Saturday availability (5 days per week) Dealership hours 7:00am-6:00pm Monday – Friday, Saturday 8:00am-6:00pm JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Receives payment for products or services sold by the dealership and plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction for the business transaction. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Greets customers at the cashier station in a pleasant and professional manner. • Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received. • Makes change and issues receipts to customers. • Reconciles cash drawer daily. • Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed. • Acts as backup to switchboard operator. • Scans and prepares paperwork as needed. • Concierge duties as needed stocking and cleaning area. • Closes & reconciles Repair Orders • Filing Repair Orders Skills and Requirements • English language required, (Bilingual a plus) • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers and coworkers. • Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds. • Contact with the public in office environments may risk exposure to contagious disease or contact with domestic animals.
