Beware of kitten scams. I have been looking for a kitten and have been disappointed in so many people trying to scam me. *So many of these posters who claim to have kittens request your phone number first- don’t send it. That’s your first clue that it’s a scam. If it’s a google phone number, don’t enter any numeric verification codes they give you- they are trying to hijack your cell number. *The next is the request for a small deposit before even seeing the kitten. They will send you a fake address and name. Kittens are in high demand right now and scammers know it and are taking advantage. Be careful out there and if something seems fishy...it is. Ensure proof of ownership or vet records before purchasing a pure breed as it may be a stolen pet.
