Press release from Nassau County Police Department: April 2, 2021 Fourth Squad detectives report the arrests of two (2) individuals for a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 6:10 pm in Inwood. According to detectives, police responded for an auto accident with a disturbance at 7 Alvin Place.  Upon arrival, responding officers discovered 2 male victims, 21 and 23 years old, had been involved in an auto accident with 2 male subjects.  Both male subjects approached the victims' vehicle and began punching them repeatedly in the face.   During the altercation, both subjects were demanding the victims give them money and both victims complied.  Police arrived shortly thereafter placing Rayshaun Reid, 23, of 226 South 12th Street, Reading, PA and Nickolus Porter, 19, of 1543 Hassock Street, Far Rockaway, in custody. Both victims suffered pain from swelling and bruising to their face. Defendants Reid and Porter are both charged with two (2) counts of Robbery 2nd Degree.  They will be arraigned on April 2, 2021 in Mineola. Details by:  Det.
