We are currently looking for energetic full-time Delivery Drivers with experience in mattress and/or furniture delivery. CDL - NOT required for this position. Our fleet consists of 2 brand new 2020 Isuzu Trucks, with cold A/C, tinted windows, in-dash 7" screen with GPS, rear-view camera and a smart phone with the latest dispatching technology. Primary Responsibilities • Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes • Assemble and set up frames / mattress • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher • Communication with the sales team as needed regarding concerns with deliveries • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer • Unload mattresses from delivery truck • Comply with all safety regulations established by company • Other duties as assigned Skills and Requirements • Must be punctual and reliable • Must have a positive attitude • Ability to move and lift heavy objects • Ability to drive a 20 foot box truck • Ability to use computer based routing technology • Strong customer service skills • All applicants are subject to background checks • Possess a valid driver’s license and have a CLEAN driving record • Previous Mattress / Furniture Delivery driver experience REQUIRED THIS IS A DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE ENVIRONMENT Compensation Hourly Based Weekly Over-time all year round Paid vacation time Paid Holidays Awesome Discounts on Mattresses 1/2 Price Mattress is the largest family owned mattress chain in the region.
