Worthington Woods Bilingual Spanish Daycare is an intimate, licensed home daycare and preschool located in the Worthington Woods neighborhood of Lorton. The owner and main caregiver has 10 years of child care and early education experience. She holds a Child Development Associates’ Degree, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Her program follows the play-based teaching philosophy, with elements of the Montessori approach. She teaches her students basic math, the alphabet, colors & shapes, and helps them prepare for kindergarten. This family child care and preschool program offers full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 9 weeks and 5 years old. She can also accept drop-in care to accommodate parents who are just looking for occasional child care needs. Peanut and tree-nut meals are provided to all kids attending her program, and they are already included in the tuition.
