Poi 2 Da People makes possible for FRESH poi and kulolo to be flown from Kauai to Los Angeles for Hawaiians and Hawaiians at heart. Hawaiians and Hawaiians at heart love the taste of fresh poi and kulolo. A special arrangement with Hanalei Taro makes it possible to have poi and kulolo available to Los Angeles, California practically overnight. If successful, it is hoped this will be a monthly event providing POI 2 DA PEOPLE of the Los Angeles area. The Haraguchi ohana are five generations deep into farming the lush lands of Hanalei. They have survived multiple natural and economic down turns to continue harvesting. We are pleased to support this local family business during troubled times. The Legacy of Hanalei Taro Company A collaboration with Patrick Landeza and the Sandwich Islands Social Network provides the wonderful opportunity to have Hanalei Taro Company share their harvest literally farm to table. Patrick Landeza and Sandwich Islands Social Network will need to place a minimum order of 100 one pound bags of poi and 100 one pound orders of kulolo to make it work.
