I am a permanently disabled United States Navy Veteran. I need some help in and around the outside of my home. I am a man of my word. I expect the same from you! Wage is $9 per hour to start for the mulch job. I will break the hour down in 15 minute sections if a full hour is not worked. Two to eight hours of work or more if it’s the right person or people? I have several full days or weekends of work I need to get done... I would prefer but not necessary; One or two friends or family members who are *honest*, able and willing to work. Some days I will need one person and some days I will need two people. It will depend upon the work needed to be done. ***I have a son who has high functioning Autism. He may or may not help. Most likely he will not help! He will try to get you to help him which you need to politely decline. You can try to get him to help you... some people he helps others he tries to get to help him so he is the boss...*** What you will need: You need your own transportation to and from my home. *I am not personally able to come get you nor take you home!* Meaning you drive your vehicle to and from my home. You also must have a valid driver’s license! Yes I will ask to see it. No smoking while at my home. My wife is Allergic to cigarette smoke. No drinking! What you do in your own time is your own business! But do not show up hung over or high! I am paying for your time so please respect me and most importantly yourself! I have plenty of cool water to drink... Trust is earned! I will give you about a one inch length of sewing thread of trust. The rest is earned! I expect the same from you! You will be Paid in cash for the work done that day and only that day of work. I do not give advanced payment for work not done. NO LOANS! No sad stories about this nor that. I am a man of my word. I expect the same from you! To start: I need some help spreading mulch out in front of my home in two flower beds and the few remaining weeds pulled or dug out. I may sow some grass and ask you to spread some dirt and straw... I have all of the needed tools. All You need to bring is a strong mind! Strong back and body, a pair of leather gloves, wear boots and pants. Come with a breakfast already ate and ready to work! Food means energy and your going to need it! Spreading mulch is hard work but the work will be at a steady pace... with breaks to drink water and to hydrate. I like to start early, 7AM or earlier so we are done before the hot of the day arrives! I need the few weeds dug and pulled up before you spread the mulch. I am not sure if I am going to put down weed proof fabric or not? The mulch is on a trailer that will be pulled up close to where it is to be spread. I also have a two wheel wheelbarrow that can be used ? Or a shavings pitch fork you can carry the mulch on and spread it as your carrying it out? Your choice? One or two helpers for this job? I also need some wood stacked up and help splitting it... not you splitting it, help as in you lifting it, loading and unloading it as you rack it... I have a garden tractor and trailer to move it on and a hydraulic splitter. (NO CHAINSAW WORK) Will we get to all of this in one or two days, NO but as we work together we will get to know each other... I Prefer someone who lives near by... This is a First come first served. Who ever emails me first gets the first shot. When you say you will be here I will expect you to be here on time and ready to work. I am not a slave driver! I believe in working smarter, not harder! This is hard work. I know because I use to do it for a living before I wasn’t able to! I have more work I need done in and around my home that will be needed as my free $$$ allows.
