Assistant Water Well Driller

Job Functions Include: • Assist in installations of new water wells for agricultural, commercial and residential applications. • Work floor of drilling rig • Operate machinery to install wells (drilling rig, backhoe). • Operate cutting torch and welder • Operate all hand held tools (shovels, pipe wrenches, cordless tools). • Performs general shop duties including cleaning, organizing, ordering material. • Performs daily, weekly, monthly maintenance on equipment. Job Requirements • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Clean driving record, Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A preferred • Basic experience welding, and equipment repairs • Experience operating a backhoe, skidsteer, and other heavy equipment • Must be able to pick up 50 pounds • Must be able to pass drug test and background check About Currie Drilling Co., Inc.: Currie Drilling has been providing quality water well services for the Texas Panhandle for 80 years.
