Shooting Star, Zinfandel Lake County 2018 - $14.99 / $9.99This Zinfandel comes from Lake County vineyards. All of the fruit is hand harvested. The grapes are de-stemmed and gently crushed to tanks for fermentation. Following fermentation, it is pressed, racked and aged in American and Hungarian oak barrels for 8 months. 80% neutral barrels and 20% new barrels are used in order to capture as much of the aroma and flavor of the grape as possible. A lighter and fruitier style Zin. Will pair well with pasta in marinara sauce, calzones, grilled meats or lasagna.
