At Aim High, we see the incredible potential in our students. Invite your students to spend their summers in high school exploring fun new ways to learn and building the confidence to succeed in high school and beyond. Summer 2019 was our inaugural year and it was a huge success for 100 Novato high school students. In 2020, due to the pandemic, Aim High switched to a virtual program and, together with our San Rafael campus, we served 110 students. OUR PROGRAM 2021: Aim High is a five-week free summer learning program. The Aim High program will run from June 28 to July 30. Aim High is committed to providing a high quality virtual learning program this summer. In addition, we are exploring the possibility of conducting activities in person in accordance with health and safety guidelines. If determined to be possible, families and members will be notified of those opportunities directly and on our website. Our virtual program, Aim High at Home, will build a community and a connection even when you are physically apart. Just like we have done for the past 36 years, Aim High at Home makes virtual learning fun and creates a safe space for students to make new friends and try new things. All the students: Take part in live virtual classes: STEAM, Book Club, and our exclusive Issues & Choices class, which explores important middle school and high school readiness topics. Being in small group learning environments supported by a two person team teaching model that gives students the attention they need to feel seen and heard. Get active, use wellness tools, learn in non-academic settings, and participate in activities (video and live) like dance, sports, arts, crafts, coding, and much more.
