Looking for a funky guitar player, to play rhythm/lead in a trio. We want to cover songs simply, and upbeat. Think NPR Tiny Desk, stripped down, up tempo versions of songs. Classics and new hits.
Drummer and myself, bass player, have been in bands for over 10 years.
Not looking to go pro, we both have 9-5.
Goal is to practice one weeknight per week, and aim to play out 1-2 times per month.
Have a PA with very small footprint, and we would like to keep this as small a foot print as possible, as bars get back up to speed post pandemic. Goal is to be "low volume", playing music the crowd likes, and wowing them with our high energy rework of songs they know.
If a small set up, with minimal pedals/rig sounds fun to you, and you won't obsess over playing the music note for note, as the original record, let's make some fun music.
