Powerlifting Competition at Unbreakable Gym Join us for our annual Light for Life Powerlifting event. The competition beings at 8 AM and the entry fee is $75. We have chosen a family for our Light for Life Powerlifting Meet. Conner Collins and Brittany Sierra, share a sweet baby girl named, Paisley. Miss Paisley has been through a lot lately. On December 7th, 2020, Brittany Pulley & Conner Collins healthy 14-month-old daughter, Paisley Jade Collins suffered from a Pediatric Ischemic Basal Ganglia Stroke that rendered the entire right side of her body paralyzed. Upon recognizing that Paisley wasn’t acting right, her parents took her to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri where a CT scan showed there were changes in her brain that were consistent with a stroke. Upon receiving the news Paisley was life transported by a critical care team to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri where she was admitted into the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and where she remained for two weeks. Paisley immediately was taken in to have an MRI which confirmed the very worst news a parent can hear. Paisley was confirmed to have had a stroke on the left side of her brain. An angiogram was also performed that showed the blood vessels near the site of the stroke were narrowing. Paisley has made great progress in her recovery but still has to see many specialists in Kansas City to have repeat procedures to make sure she isn’t getting worse and is progressing. Paisley is such an amazing and spunky little girl that has shown she has an unbreakable fight in her. We can only hope that she continues to move forward in her progress and leave this tragic event behind her.8 AM We would like to thank Conner Collins for being Unbreakable.
