We are a commercial general construction company located in San Diego County that has been in business for 18+ years, and are looking for an experienced working construction foreman. This person would be responsible for scheduling subcontractors, managing crews, and be well versed in all construction areas, be a great communicator, etc. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities included but not limited to: • Generally understanding of plans and scope of work. • Managing and coordinate project with sub-contractors and in-house employees. • Verify all work is preform in a professional manner. • Supervise the work and labors giving them guidance when needed. • Coordinate city inspections and maintain a clean and safe job site. Skills: • Commercial tenant improvement construction with 3+ years required. • Understanding of commercial construction building codes. • Knowledge in Steel stud framing, drywall, plumbing, and electrical. • Clean driving record • Bi-lingual (a plus) This position requires 40 hours work week with an occasional weekend work. Normal hours 7am to 330pm, Monday thru Friday.
