Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The seven-day rolling averages of added COVID-19 cases and added deaths from the disease dropped for the second day in a row.The District added 73 new cases and six confirmed COVID-19 deaths.The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased in Oconee County but decreased slightly in Clarke County.Oconee County Schools reported eight Active COVID-19 Cases and 31 Active Quarantines, down from 17 Active Cases and 83 Quarantines last week.The numbers of Active Cases and Quarantines have not been this low since early November.Area hospitals reported no change in the number of COVID-19 patients.
