Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this brief description of the services I am offering. First off, thank you for your interest in Chinese! I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Tony（安东尼）, and I am a recent graduate from the University of San Diego Business School Majoring in Finance and Minoring in Chinese. I have studied Chinese for over 7 years now and have been tutoring and helping others learn Chinese for a little over two years now. I have professional experience translating rudimentary Chinese documents and tutoring children for a company in Coronado, CA. In wake of recently difficult financial times, I thought that I would reach out to our local community and see if anyone is interested in Chinese (Mandarin) classes. I am open to whatever you are comfortable with, whether it be in person or over Zoom/Skype Classes. I typically teach in intervals of 30 minutes to an hour and am open to group or one-on-one lessons. I love teaching people of all backgrounds and levels. I myself know how to speak 5 languages and am a proud polyglot! I also enjoy learning about people's cultures and language abilities. By joining me, I guarantee you immediate progress within the first week of your classes! You will be assigned light to moderate homework which consist of exercises that are triggered to help you improve your writing, speaking, reading, and grammar comprehension abilities. The Chinese language is difficult and diverse undoubtedly, but I assure you that you will enjoy learning it and seeing your improvements. My goal and promise is to simplify the entire learning experience as I have learned to do so for myself in the past 7-8 years! My rates are subject to change and are variable dependent upon our lesson style and lesson plans. Typically $25-$30 for 30 minutes and $50-$60 for 1 hour. Rates are adjustable as I stated earlier and if you would like longer lessons, those are available too! I am currently available for the majority of the week so please feel free to contact me.
