Girl Talk is an event created to empower women and provide them with resources to overcome obstacles many women may face. PRIDE of Tuscaloosa is proud to host Girl Talk annually as an event to empower women and discuss real topics and issues many women may face. This event will cover important topics such as: signs and symptoms of substance and opioid abuse, stress management, sexual assault, human trafficking, creating a positive body image, mental health and more. PRIDE hopes to use this event to break the stigma of mental health disorders and substance abuse to have each women leaving the conference feeling refreshed and uplifted with the skills and knowledge to better face life's daily struggles.
