Join Chef Eric Chaitin at Baldy’s Smoked Meats (349 Water St. in Saugatuck) on the water in downtown Saugatuck for an in depth discussion on brines, rubs, mops, and the technique of smoking meats to a tender, juicy perfection. Baldy’s is known for authentic, pit-style, smoked BBQ. Enjoy a sampling of their beef brisket, chicken, ribs, and sausage, along with some of their famous sides like cheesy potatoes and elote corn; plus a sampler flight of delicious, cold craft beers. You will also be given recipes and how-to instructions on creating your own smoked meats at home using a simple grill.
This unique class takes place at Baldy's Smoked Meats (located at 349 Water St. in Saugatuck) — not at Isabel's Market + Eatery.
Our Cancellation Policy You may cancel your registration up to two weeks prior to class for a full refund. No refunds can be issued after the two-week window however you may transfer your ticket to another party at any time prior to class. The Culinary School at Isabel's and Sue Chef may cancel class at any time, for reasons unknown (such as weather, illness, mechanical issues, etc.) You will be personally notified via text or email and a full refund will be issued or class will be rescheduled at an agreed upon date.
