The driver of the other vehicle involved — a pickup truck that had overturned — was not at the crash site when first responders arrived, TPD said, as investigators have yet to locate the truck's owner.
The victim's identity has not been released as investigators work to identify her and notify next of kin.
The wreck is being investigated by TPD's Accident Reconstruction Unit. TPD said the road was reopened around 8:30 a.m. Friday morning after being closed for several hours while debris was cleared.
