Zenbook Duo 481 Stolen?

While visiting Home Depot today (04/02/21) in Palm Desert from 8:30AM - 1:00pm, my brand new Zenbook Duo 481 Asus Laptop goes missing. I am certain that I did not bring it with me on my trip to Home Depot. I believe it was taken from where I was staying, in a gated community off Tava Ln. I believe I was intending to put the brown-cased laptop in my car but never did and it was left on the patio. Also enclosed is a small stack of paper, 9 pages of journaling and others blank pages. I dont know if someone climbed over or walked in but it is unlikely. It is also unlikely that I would've kept the cased Zenbook on my passenger seat while shopping as I would've secured it in the trunk. I am utterly saddened and have been crying for the past couple hours. I never make these kinds of purchases and the laptop was brand new not even 3 weeks with me.... I dont ever lose my stuff so this is really peculiar and leaves me depressed and overwhelmed. I dont know what to do so I thought Id compose this to help compose myself. Im so so saddened and will forgive anyone who may have picked up my laptop...
