Locally-owned, established transportation and warehousing company is seeking an experienced, qualified forklift operator. If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this position, please respond to this posting: Job duties include: Safely operate forklifts ranging in size from 8,000lb capacity to 22,000lb capacity Safely handle variety of building materials and general consumer goods Load and unload trucks, trailers, and railcars Load securement and bracing Ability to lift 35-45 pounds Stand, walk, reach, sit for extended periods of time Typical shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-3:00 PM; overtime as required Requirements: 3+ years of verifiable forklift operating experience Work outside, year-round Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work independently with provided instruction Access to reliable transportation Must be able to periodically work overtime to meet customer needs Stand, walk, reach, sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift 35-45 pounds Preference will be given to applicants with the following: Experience with forklifts ranging in size from 15,000lb capacity to 22,000lb capacity Experience handling dimensional lumber Benefits offered: Competitive pay DOE Company paid medical and vision insurance Company matching 401k Paid holidays Paid time off If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this position, please respond to this posting.
