Hours of operation are: 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday, 8am -Noon Saturday, Closed Sunday. Closing time is tentative and may go past standard closing time. Responsibilities: · Maintaining the appearance of the store, inside and out, plus the appearance of the outside yard. · Receive in trailer loads and checking for discrepancies in paperwork and any damage. · Prepare work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials. · Assembling trailers received in, checking tire pressure and making sure lugs are torqued to spec. · Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. · Assemble parts by examining connections for correct fit; Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts, using drill presses and portable power drills. · Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications. File, lap, and buff parts to fit, using hand and power tools. · Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements. · Assemble on trailers components corresponding with individual trailers, position, align assemblies and, subassemblies. Drill, grind, alter, mount components, touch up and prep equipment for delivery. · Maintain inventory levels by checking stock required for everyday assembly. · Move and align trailers according to yard layout using forklift or tractor. · Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. · Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures and rules. · Perform other duties that may be assigned.
