Are you interested in becoming a Facilities Maintenance Technician? Our ideal candidate will have strong fundamental handyman skills, including knowledge in basic plumbing and electrical work, pool maintenance, and repair (doors, windows, sinks, ect). You will be repairing and replacing HVAC units as well as preparing properties for new tenants. What you can expect from us: · Pay rate: $15-$20 per hour (depending on experience) · Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance with employer contribution · 401(k) plan · 2 weeks PTO · 7 paid holidays per year Some additional responsibilities include: · Being on call on alternating weeks · Work directly with and answer to Property Manager with constant communication throughout each day working as a team to effectively and efficiently provide a fabulous experience for the tenants. · Assisting in inspecting and coordinating all make ready repairs and services · Looks to provide proactive maintenance instead of reactive maintenance · Research and gather information related to vendors, contractors, equipment and supplies · Assist the property manager in submitting projects for bids · Monitoring contractors to make sure work is completed timely and properly · Completing maintenance logs · Participating as an integral part of the maintenance team in timely snow removal and ice melt application efforts Required skills include: EPA Certification and HVAC tools All handyman skills – minor electrical, plumbing, construction, painting, laying flooring and carpet, appliance repair Ability to drive to properties, shovel and/or plow snow Willingness to learn and follow direction Good communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Application Questions You have requested that Indeed ask candidates the following questions: How many years of hvac experience do you have?
