Drum Tech / Stage Hand A very established 80s Rock Tribute Cover Band in Minneapolis/St Paul is looking for an experienced drum tech/stage hand to work with the band for its in town and traveling shows. We are booked 1 to 3 shows a month and range from large clubs, theaters, outdoor festivals, casinos, etc. Shows are usually on a Friday or Sat night with the exception of a Holiday show, a dual night casino show or a large OOT event. This position is paid and requires you to be in charge of unloading, hauling in and setting up of a large drum kit along with mics, cables, etc. (Drum Tuning and Teching is a bonus!) You will also help with load in and set up of vocal monitors, stage effect machines, scrims, banner, etc. You will aid in tear down, packing and load out after the event. This position requires a serious, dedicated, trustworthy, conscientious and dependable individual who can lift up to 100 lbs. We prefer a non-smoker and little to no drinking. If you have moderate to advanced drum/musical knowledge, this is a plus. A previous drummer, stage tech or stage hand would be ideal. This position is part time and requires weekend flexibility. You must have a reliable means of transportation for in-town shows. Pay will DOE, knowledge and amount of training.
