SK Northwest Powersports and Polaris of Portland are seeking additional staff in our Service Department. We do Sales, Parts, Service, and Rentals for motorized recreational vehicles like Sea-doo, Ski-doo, Can-am, Polaris, Slingshot, and many other products. We have been serving the Portland Area for 21yrs. Located 3 blocks south of OMSI, on the Willamette River. Our hours are Tue-Fri 10-6 and Sat 9-5 (Closed Sun/Mon). Seeking a Lot Assistant to help our Service Department. This position is always moving with warehouse like functions loading unloading trucks, moving units/parts, and cleaning everything. We loading and unloading customer units in our drive thru, then move these units safely and efficiently around our shop, and into a racking structure. Able to drive our recreational vehicles responsibly important. Organization of units, cleaning once service complete, and being a helpful hand to other staff is a normal day here. Detailing new units before delivery is another function we use this position for. If mechanically inclined bonus - some simpler task could be help to our shop like if able to check fluids, change a tire, or change trailer lights. Help our Set-up Techs decrate new units. Valid driver's license is required. We use this position on runs trucks with trailers to go pick-up/deliver unit (ATV/UTV/PWC/SLEDS/Etc). So if you are comfortable driving with larger trucks and trailers please state your experience. Driving Trucks and Trailer Skill sets seeking; good attitude, good communication skills, self starter, hard worker, reliable, attention to detail. Continually think what would you like if you were the customer. Background with recreational vehicles (ATV, SxS, snowmobiles, pwc, or bikes) would be very helpful. This is not a boring same old thing job will be asked to do diverse amount of tasks. Must be willing to clean everything including bathrooms. Position is full time and year around.
