Lumber Yard General laborer/Forklift operator Local building materials and hardware dealer in southern NH seeking Lumber Yard Customer Service Associates for full and part-time positions. Successful candidates will possess good communication skills, strong work ethic and integrity. With the ability to take direction, to work independently as well as work as a team. They must have availability on at least 1 weekend day per week and some evenings until close (7pm). Work duties to include: • Assisting customers with selecting and loading of material. • Professional interaction with our customers and co-workers. • Operating Equipment (forklift and small loader). • Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining materials in the yard and warehouse. • Picking orders for delivery or in-store pick up. • Re-stocking lumber and warehouse with material. • Occasionally assist the shipping department with deliveries to home and jobsites. General Requirements: • Applicant must be capable of lifting over 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques. • Job requires working outdoors during all weather conditions. • Good organizational skills. • Valid driver’s license and prior experience preferred, but not required. • Good communication skills, with ability to read, write, and speak English. • Must be able to work in a team environment and independently. • Must be available to work at least one weekend day.
