J&J Maintenance is based in Columbia, Missouri and maintains commercial shopping malls in the area. We are seeking a day porter/landscaper for general upkeep, cleaning of exterior facilities and buildings, and/or other areas as assigned as well as landscaping duties, such as mowing, when needed. Responsibilities: Cleaning, sweeping, and generally removing all trash and litter from the grounds, parking lots, stairways, and all other assigned areas. Wiping down trash receptacles, window sill cleaning, de-webbing of buildings and doorways, assisting in light maintenance work and other tasks as assigned by management. Caring for equipment used in performance of assigned duties. Reporting acts of vandalism, items needing repair, destruction of property and suspicious persons observed in the assigned area to the maintenance supervisor. Performing such duties and assuming other responsibilities as may be assigned. Requirements: Must have a valid drivers license Must have reliable transportation to the job site Must be able to pass a background check Previous landscape experience a plus Previous maintenance/minor repair experience a plus
