Seeking Full Time Turn Key/Assistant Maintenance for Apartment Community. LOOKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY!! We are currently seeking a long term employee to fill our maintenance/make ready position. You will be preparing vacant apartments for new tenants so they are "move in ready" and perform standard community repairs to apartments and grounds. Responsibilities include: Maintenance repairs to the apartments and the community as needed. Light electrical, basic plumbing and carpentry. Turning units (preparing vacant apartments for move in), interior painting, detailed deep cleaning, carpet cleaning (we provide professional machine and training to use), cleaning of property grounds (such as picking up trash as most of the grounds maintenance is contracted out) Qualifications: 1. Prior experience required in Maintenance or Construction. 2. Must have reliable transportation. 3. Must be dependable, on time daily, and have good work ethic. 4. Must be professional at all times (especially when working with residents) 5. Must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance 6. Must be able to haul your supplies to and from the apartments and lift 50+lbs (appliances, equipment, supplies, etc) Additional Qualifications: Basic Carpentry Skills, Drywall (occasional sheet rock, patching holes), Basic Plumbing Knowledge (faucet installation, toilet repair, drain lines in sinks, etc), Electrical (light fixture installation, receptacles, etc), Flooring (ceramic tile, vinyl, laminate), Appliance Repair (heating element, dishwasher, stove eyes, etc) **Previous experience in apartment community or property management company preferred** Hours are FULL TIME Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm **Compensation $11 To $13 per hour depending on experience. **Interested and QUALIFIED candidates, please respond with resume.
