Grading Contractor is looking for qualified dedicated Foreman, Grade Checkers, Operators and Laborers to join our safety minded construction team full-time. General Requirements: · Must be 18 years of age or older · Eligible for work in the US with 2 valid forms of identification · Must be able to read and speak English · Must have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a drug test · Must be able to drive to and from job locations located in Southern California Foreman Job Summary: Pay $40-$50 per hour · 5-10 years experience as a foreman specifically relating to rough/ finish grade · GPS Proficient · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel and internet applications · Must be able to read plans and efficiently direct a crew · Must have knowledge/experience grading around buildings including curbing, slopes, paving, concrete, etc. · OSHA 30 certification · First Aid/CPR certification Operator Job Summary: Pay $30-$35 per hour · Operates a wide variety of heavy equipment/vehicles that perform the spreading and compaction of construction materials, rough and finish grading, loading and hauling of material in dump trucks (Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, and dump trucks). · Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures. · Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records. · Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment. · Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining equipment/ vehicles. · Performs other labor duties as assigned. Grade Checker Summary: Pay $35-$40 per hour · Minimum 5-7 years experience as a grade checker and/or heavy equipment operator · Possess work tools · GPS knowledge a must · Rough and finish grading Laborer Summary: Pay $17-$20 per hour · Must be physically able to work outdoors for the duration of each workday in varying weather and construction conditions · Must be able to stand for long periods of time · Required to work and exercise caution around heavy equipment · Must be familiar and follow safety policies/procedures · Required repetitive movements such as: shoveling dirt · Frequent heavy lifting (not to exceed 50lbs) Work Environment: Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job.
