Looking for the right person to join an established north shore business in product packaging and order fulfillment. This is a Temporary position. This is a unique opportunity to develop and use valuable skills, work solo and sometimes in tandem, collaborate and plan with others, contribute your feedback to foster improvements. We produce a line of organically grown, value added products sold on island and through our website. The packaging position is responsible for fulfilling these orders and sending aloha to all our customers. Primary Tasks 9-4, 3/4 days a week, possibly full time in the future. Putting our onsite, handmade products into their final retail packaging Accurately applying labels so each item has a cohesive, professional look Picking product and securely and neatly packing boxes for order fulfillment Using Mac based shipping software to create shipping labels Daily post office runs to drop off outgoing packages and pick up incoming supplies Unpacking supplies and keeping the packaging room clean and organized Evaluating stock levels and filling as needed to keep stock at optimum levels Stocking our retail space Updating website stock levels as inventory is created Desired Traits Ability to work solo and problem solve Attention to detail Ability to lift and carry 30 lb boxes Pleasant demeanor and can do attitude Interest in natural healing, healthy lifestyle and taking personal responsibility for ones health Familiar and comfortable using Mac computers and iPads Professional, helpful and pleasant in verbal and written communications Reliable transportation Basic plant and herbalism knowledge useful To apply send a pdf resume, a brief description of yourself in the email including, what you can bring to the job, and how long you've been on Kauai.
