Direct hire, union opportunity with a local distribution company! This position will be responsible for warehouse activities involving receiving, storing, shipping, and recording of chemicals, fertilizers, and other miscellaneous products. As well as making deliveries or inventory pick-ups. Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Location Wailuku, Maui Pay $24 an hour Responsibilities Fulfill warehouse obligations including, but not limited to, receiving, storing, taking inventory of company products. Make deliveries and handle inventory pick-ups. Stay accountable for all materials and products received and stored in the warehouse. Load, stack, unload, and transport materials in the warehouse, plant, and other storage areas. Properly receive products by verifying stock numbers, quantity, size and items shipped against ordering and shipping documents.\ Properly store products in appropriate locations and make notations for receiving reports. Take inventory as required. Prepare customer orders for delivery, will call, and ship outs. Responsible for the proper maintenance of all warehouse equipment (including high-lift and forklift) and related facilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 1-year of warehouse and truck driving experience. Must have current forklift/high-lift certification. Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement. Ability to lift up to 100lbs. Basic mechanical aptitude. Understanding of use and care of all assigned equipment and vehicles. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Interested?
