Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking Plumber Helpers to assist Plumbers in installing and maintaining plumbing systems. Our office is centrally located in Newark, NJ and we are one of the leading plumbing and HVAC contractors in the Tri-State Area since 1999. We provide comprehensive plumbing and HVAC services to commercial and residential clients with existing and new construction projects. Responsibilities and Duties: • Assist in installing and maintaining plumbing systems. • Assist pipe fitters in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping for air, gas, and water systems. • Cut or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipes. • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle • Mount brackets and hangers on walls and ceilings to hold pipes, and set sleeves or inserts to provide support for pipes. • Assemble new pipe and placing it in hangers or other supports. • Fit or assist in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps, or systems, using hand tools. • Install other plumbing equipment, such as sinks, tubs, toilets, appliances, and trim. • Disassemble and remove damaged or worn pipe. • Ensures job-site cleanliness • Follow all safety procedures Qualifications: • Working knowledge of plumbing systems • Must have basic hand tools for plumbing • Proficiency with hand and power tools required in the plumbing industry • OSHA 10 Construction • Ability to safely lift up to 70lbs • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Must have a good work ethic, the willingness to learn, and a positive attitude Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM • Must be flexible to work overtime and Saturday We are proud to offer: • Competitive Salary Based on Experience • OSHA Training Programs • Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays • Health Insurance & Supplemental Insurance • Work Uniforms • All Safety Equipment & Tools • Opportunities for Career Growth & Development • Quality Oriented Company Culture AAP/EEO Statement Haddad Plumbing and Heating, Inc provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
