Industry leading Biotechnology Company is actively seeking a Shipping Associate to join our growing company. The primary objective for this position is to work as part of the shipping/receiving team to check in all incoming packages using company database and to ensure all outgoing packages are packed correctly and accurately on a daily basis. Job Purpose • Process incoming shipment of biological materials • Record that incoming shipments match with expected shipments • Organize biological materials in appropriate freezers and refrigerators, so other team members are able to find them • Label outgoing biological materials with correct labels, and secure them for future shipping • Package materials according to all IATA PI • Label outgoing packages with correct labels in compliance with DOT/IATA specifications • Package secured biological materials with either dry ice or cold packs • Secure package, to make sure it travels safely towards destination • Constantly check and make sure that the department is stocked with supplies and packages • Notify Shipping Manager when supplies are needed • Keep warehouse neatly organized and clean at all times Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent • Must have great organization and analytical skills • Must be comfortable working with biological materials • Must have great interpersonal and communication skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus • Must be a creative and positive individual • You are a team player.
