The New England Nurseries Delivery Driver delivers product to the customer safely, efficiently, and accurately while conveying excellent customer service and experience.
Essential Functions
Demonstrates excellent driving skills by obeying traffic laws while accurately and efficiently delivering orders to the customer’s site.
Assist team members in the loading and unloading of delivered materials consisting of loam, mulch, firewood, plant material of all kinds, and hardscape products.
Complete routine inspection and cleaning of trucks
Candidates should be Efficient, Organized and Neat, Dependable, and have Good Communication Skills, and a Positive Attitude.
Candidates must have a good driving record. Must not have any DUI records and may be subject to a background check. Previous experience in customer service business is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
This job operates in an active retail environment. The job will be conducted in good and bad weather.
This position requires the candidate to be able to lift moderate weight, climb up onto truck, and work long days when needed. Days and hours of work vary by schedule and season.
