Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician

Overview: We are a small and growing residential swimming pool service company based out of Lynnfield, MA. We pride ourselves in developing and maintaining relationships with our customers while providing exceptional customer service and technical knowledge. We are ideally looking for someone that wants to learn the swimming pool trade and grow with our company. However, we do need summer help. We will train and no experience is necessary. We need all our employees to show up on time every day. If you are not dependable do not apply. However, if you want to work outside during the nicest days of the year and learn a trade APPLY TODAY. Job duties include but are not limited to: • Working 2 to 6 days a week 20-60 hours/ week • Working full days 7-5 when on the schedule • Vacuuming pools and maintaining proper water chemistry as well as brushing, backwashing and cleaning filtration equipment • Safely using a chemical test kit • Being responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and stocked vehicle and tool bag • Safely working with hazardous chemicals and maintaining accurate records of usage • Assisting in opening and closing in ground pools • Replacing pool liners and covers • Repairing or replacing filters, pumps, heaters and other pool equipment and accessories • Having ongoing daily contact with new and existing customers • Working independently with little supervision and as a team member • Doing minor plumbing and electrical work • Must comply with all safety procedures, inclusive of safe working and driving habits • Safely driving a company vehicle to many different homes each day • Taking pride in their work and being respectful of property, equipment and people Requirements: • Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED • Must have valid driver’s license and your own vehicle to get to and from work • Must have clean driving record and your own auto insurance • Must be legally able to work in the United States • Must be able to lift at least 75lbs • Must possess exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills as well as neat appearance and polite demeanor • Basic knowledge of cleaning/ maintaining pools a plus but we will train • Electrical, plumbing and masonry experience a plus • Must be able to effectively communicate in English in written and oral forms • Candidate will be working outside in all types of weather • Over time may be available Pay starts at $18/hour with OT over 40 hours for candidates with no experience. Further pay increases are commensurate with performance and experience. Paid holidays and Paid time off for full-time employees. $500 sign on bonus. WE ARE A DRUG AND ALCHOHOL FREE WORKPLACE.
