Shades By Design is a custom window treatments company serving Miami-dade, broward and Palm Beach counties. We are looking to expand our installation team. We are looking for top-notch installer apprentices that love mastering a skill and working with people. Our installer apprentices are responsible for managing the setup and tear down of installations, as well as deliveries, repairs, and service calls. This team is directly responsible for being hands on with meticulous one of a kind installations as well as providing excellent customer service taking care of our client’s homes and respecting their space. You will work directly with our customer service and Installation team to provide a seamless experience for our clients in preparing the tools, hardware, product for efficient execution, as well as ask for the next project. What you are responsible for: * Measuring and problem solving pre-install when required by scope of work preparing for the next day’s installs for the team leads. * Proactively seeking ways to assist in the warehouse, installation, and customer service departments to be a valuable asset of the team. * A relentless persistence in managing the micro-details on high volume repairs, deliveries, and service calls weekly, that put final pieces of the puzzle together by communicating on every job its completion details. What is important to us? * Minimum 2 years in Handyman/Carpentry/Installation Services * Exceptional knowledge of building structure and tool management skills. * A love for making customers happy, and a knack for not taking it personal is a plus.
