Description

Bring a road, hybrid or mountain bike for an evening ride around the mighty Columbia River. SAS is committed to socializing at safe distances with participants at organized activities. Masks and 6ft of seperation are required. Group size is limiited to 10 participants. Sisters under the age of 18 are welcome at this activity with a guardian and/or guardian's signature. Reservation required. SAS is committed to removing the financial barrier that can stop women and girls from participating in action sports. That is why our activities are free. If you do not have a financial barrier, we ask that you consider donating to our all volunteer run organization to help keep us sustainable. Administrative and insurance costs do exist and since we cannot host large fundraising events we are asking for a donation of $25 for each activity. A SAS hat is included with your donation. Just click the Activity Donation add on when you register. Thank you. We will start the ride at Pybus Public Market, Orondo Ave parking lot, and head out for a medium pace ride, stopping a few times along the way. Passes Required: None Directions: Pybus Public Market is located at 7 N. Worthen St. on the NE corner of Worthen Street and Orondo Avenue. Wenatchee Ave traveling South: Take a left at 2nd Street down to Columbia. Turn right and follow Columbia south to Orondo. Turn left at Orondo and cross the railroad tracks. The entrance to the market is straight ahead. Wenatchee Ave traveling North: Take a right (east) on Orondo Avenue and cross the railroad tracks following it right down to the market. Round-Trip Distance: 10 miles Elevation Gain: 600ft Difficulty: Easy, paved trail What to Bring: Water, snacks, jacket, a working bike and possibly a bike light.
