Sign-up to reserve a free native plant or tree courtesy of Long Reach Village. We will be distributing native trees and plants at 6110 Foreland Garth between 9:30am and noon on April 24, 2021 as a part of Long Reach Village's 50th anniversary and election day celebration. Available plants/trees: Quart-sized golden ragwort (Packera aurea)Five-gallon Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis)Five-gallon Dogwood (Cornus Florida)You will be asked to select your preferred plant/tree during registration. Supply is limited. First come, first served. Limit one plant per household. This giveaway is open to residents of Long Reach Village ONLY. We will be verifying addresses and will cancel duplicate reservations and those from outside of Long Reach. To help maintain social distancing, we require that you select a half-hour pick-up window. Please arrive during your scheduled time. Masks are required. During pick-up you will be given the next available tree/plant - you will not be able to select a particular tree/plant. We recommend bringing a bag, tarp or blanket to lay your tree/plant on to keep your car clean. All trees will be rooted in a 5-gallon container and will be several feet tall - please plan accordingly. Please be prepared to load your tree into your car without assistance.
