A-Star is an auto parts retailer and wholesaler looking for a reliable and detail oriented candidate to join our locally owned and operated company. We offer paid vacation and medical benefits. Monday thru Friday @ 40 hours per week plus approx. 2 hours of over-time.
The right candidate is expected to have the following:
- Warehouse Experience (preferably 2+ years)
- Shipping experience (systems such as FedEx, USPS, UPS, etc.)
- Valid drivers license
- Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Self-discipline (follow direction as given, work independently)
- Team player (work in a team to help warehouse flow effectively)
- Time management
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs and be on your feet for duration of the shift
Daily Job Duties: Efficiently and accurately picking orders ( often using electric order picker), inspecting parts, boxing and packaging parts, shipping (often a high-volume amount) in a fast pace environment and helping with other warehouse work as needed.
You need to have a valid Driver's License and be able to be insured to drive company vehicle (NO CDL required). Also need to have basic computer skills and be detail oriented.
